AVRIL CANCELLED!!!!
OMG!!! What a bunch of morons!!
"Yesterday, we mentioned how the
Malaysia's Islamists
wanted Avril Lavigne's concert cancelled.
Who can blame them???
Apparently April's moves on stage were considered
"too sexy."
Haha!
In Malaysia, they require all performers to wear clothes
without obscene or drug-related images.
They also need to be covered from chest to knees and need to
refrain from shouting, jumping, hugging and
kissing on stage.
Well, yesterday Malaysia ended up canceling Lavigne's tour,
saying it was appropriate, especially with their
independence day celebrations soon approaching just
two days after the show.
The Arts, Culture and Heritage Ministry stated it decided
April's show was not suitable for Malaysian culture.
A rep from the ministry says, "It is not timely.
It's not in the good spirit of our National Day.
If we go ahead with the concert,
it is contrary to what we are preparing for."
An official from the youth wing of the fundamentalist opposition party,
the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, said
"We don't want our people, our teenagers,
influenced by their performance. We want clean artists,
artists that are good role models."
Good luck ever thinking Lavigne is a good role model!'

Sad sad sad for all those who bought tickets
